Makes 5 bowls of soup.Combine squash, chicken broth, and smart balance in large pan over high heat.Bring chicken broth to boil, continue boiling for 5 minutes stirring occasionaly.Reduce heat to medium, stir in brown sugar, applesauce and nutmeg. Dissolve corn starch in a small amount of water and stir into soup.Cut up the cooked bacon slices and add to soup.Contine simmering and stirring for 5 more minutes.(Also good if you saute onions in smart balance before adding the chicken broth and squash.
