Here is how you make Steak Soup:

Makes 8 - 2 cup servingsMake a roux by melting the butter, then stir in the flour. Brown gently.Gradually add 2 cups of the water to the roux and stir until smooth. Add the remaining water, the carrot, frozen vegetables and canned tomatoes.In a skillet saute the steak in a pan sprayed with cooking spray until browned. Drain off the grease and add the steak to the soup.
