Bring to a boil, then reduce heat, add kale & simmer for 30 minutes. Add balsamic vinegar at the end. Makes approximately 12 1-cup servings.Can also make this in the crockpot on low for 8 hours: cook sausage &slice, then combine all ingredients except kale & vinegar in crockpot.
