12 oz. ground beef ( I use 2 lbs. of our frozen deer burger, which is about 60% [or better] ground venison. That's why there is such an odd amount, here.
2 1/2 cups of cut up cabbage
2 (6 oz.) cans of tomato paste
8 cups water
3 (15 oz.) cans of mixed vegetables
3 pkgs. of dried sloppy joe seasoning
2 cups of pasta shells (medium)

Here is how you make Vegetable Soup with Venison:

Brown your two lbs of ground meat, drain fat. Add 2 1/2 cups of cabbage, tomato paste and 8 cups of water. Bring to a boil. Add 3 cans of mixed vegetable (with liquid), and 3 pkgs of dried sloppy joe seasoning. Bring back to a boil and add pasta shells.
