2 cup (240ml) Imagine Vegetarian No-Chicken Broth, Low Sodium
.25 cup Cornstarch
2 tbsp Rice Wine Vinegar (by PINCHYGUY)
24 tsp coconut sugar, Madhava? Organic (1 t)
2 tbsp Soy sauce (tamari)
3 tbsp Sesame Seeds
3 tbsp chopped Scallions, raw


How Do I Make Vegan No-Chicken Sesame Sauce?

Here is how you make Vegan No-Chicken Sesame Sauce:

1. Mince ginger root and garlic.2. Add cornstarch to small cup with approx. .25 cup water and stir until it makes a white slurry. Set aside for later.3. Add Sesame oil to deep sauce pan. When oil is hot, add garlic and ginger root and saute until tender. (about 5 minutes)4. When tender Sriracha Sauce, No-Chicken Broth, Rice Wine Vinegar, Sugar and Soy Sauce to pan and mix until sugar is dissolved.5. Add 1 Tbsp of Sesame seeds and 1 Tbsp of Scallions to sauce and let mixture reduce for 8-10 minutes.6. While sauce is still boiling, add the cornstarch slurry and stir or whisk continuously. The mixture will begin to thicken immediately and stirring/whisking will prevent clumping.7. Once thickened, reduce heat and add salt or pepper to taste.8. You can now stir in the vegan chicken of your choice. Add remaining sesame seeds and scallions for garnish. This works well with rice/quinoa also.
