Here is how you make Indonesian Spiced Chicken:

Wash and pat dry chicken, trim fat. Place onion, garlic, and ginger in a food processor and process till smooth, adding a bit of water if necessary. Place the chicken, onion mixture and remaining ingredients in a large pan and slowly being to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and some for 45 min or until the chicken is tender, stirring occasionally. Transfer the chicken to a plate, and remove and discard the lemon peel. Bring the sauce remaining in the pan to a boil, increase the heat to moderately high and cook, uncovered, until quite thick, stirring occasionally.
