What Are The Ingredients For Chinese Lo Mein Recipe?The ingredients for Chinese Lo Mein are: 1/2 tbsp cornstarch & 1 tbsp water3/4 lb. pork tenderloin 3 tbsp oyster sauce & 1/4 c. water 1/4 lb. fresh or steamed Chinese noodles 3 tsp sesame oil, divided use 1 c. sliced onion 4 garlic cloves, crushed 2 tsp ground ginger 1/4 lb. fresh snow peas, trimmed & cut in half if large (about 1 1/2 cups) 1 c. fresh bean sprouts 1 c. sliced mushrooms Salt & freshly ground black pepper to taste How Do I Make Chinese Lo Mein?Here is how you make Chinese Lo Mein: Bring a large saucepan filled with water to a boil over high heat.Mix cornstarch and water together. Trim pork of visible fat and cut into 1/2-inch pieces. Toss in the cornstarch mixture. Set aside.Mix oyster sauce with water. Set aside.Add noodles to boiling water. As soon as the water comes back to a boil, drain.Heat a wok or skillet over high heat. Add 2 teaspoons sesame oil. Add onion and stir-fry 1 minutes. Add pork, garlic and ginger and stir-fry 1 minute. Add snow peas, bean sprouts and mushrooms. Toss another minute. Add the drained noodles. Add oyster sauce. Continue stir-frying 2 minutes. Add salt and pepper to taste and the remaining 1 teaspoon sesame oil. Toss well and serve.
