1 Medium Cabbage
2 10.75 oz Cans Tomato Soup
1 Cup water
2 Cups Rice, cooked
2 Eggs
1/2 Cup Italian Style Bread Crumbs
1 Medium Onion, Finely Chopped
1/4 Cup Nonfat Milk
1 1/2 lbs Lean Ground Beef
1 Tbsp Garlic Powder
Salt & Pepper to taste


How Do I Make Baked Cabbage Rolls?

Here is how you make Baked Cabbage Rolls:

First put on a large pot of water. While waiting for the water to come to a slight boil, cut the core out of the cabbage. Remember to be gentle while cutting it out. Go ahead after that and mix the ground beef, garlic powder, salt, pepper, milk, eggs, bread crumbs, and cooked rice in a large mixing bowl. Mix well. Set aside. The water should be to a slight boil by now. Using a large tongs set the cabbage in the water. When the leaves start coming off set the in a strainer. The first twelve or so leaves will be the ones to use for rolling the meat mixture. The rest of the leaves layer on the bottom of a greased 9x13 in baking dish. Now for the rolls, Take a leaf and trim down the vain if it is too thick to roll. Starting with the vain side, put about a 1/2 cup of the meat mixture on it. Roll up util the cabbage touches. Fold the sides in, then continue rolling. Sit the in two rows in the baking dish. Once they are in the dish, get a medium size bowl. Mix the tomato soup and the water together and add salt and pepper to taste. Pour over the rolls. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes. Let them sit for 5 minutes and there ready to eat.
