1 3/4 - 2 pounds cubed steak
1 cup flour
seasoned salt and pepper to taste
1 large family sized can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 can 2% milk (about 1 cup)
1-2 T olive oil


How Do I Make Country Baked Steak?

Here is how you make Country Baked Steak:

Cut cubed steak into 6 pieces. Add seasoned salt and pepper as desired to the flour (@ 1/2 tsp salt and 1 tsp pepper). Coat beef in seasoned flour.Heat olive oil in skillet; brown beef well.Remove beef to a 13x9 baking dish. Add cream of mushroom soup and milk to skillet and heat through. Season with salt and pepper to taste if desired. You can also add onion powder or garlic powder.Pour gravy over beef and cover with foil. Bake for at least an hour at 350 degrees. Can be cooked for longer - reduce heat to 300 degrees for up to another hour and a half.
