Here is how you make Crock Pot Beans and Ham:

Rinse and inspect beans and remove any stones. Place in crockpot on lowest setting with 6 cups of water overnight. Approximately 3 hours before serving, add in 1 7 oz can of chopped green chiles. Chop ham into medium to large dice size and place into beans. Rough chop the bacon before cooking and then render it while pouring off the bacon fat when necessary. Mix in with beans and let cook in crockpot on high until ready to serve. Add 1/4 cup of water at a time periodically to keep beans from cooking dry.
