1 jar (16 oz) thick and chunky salsa
1 can (15.5 oz) red beans, drained and rinsed
1/2 tsp minced garlic (or 1 clove garlic, pressed)
1.5 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp ground cumin
1/2 cup (2 oz) shredded Mexican cheese blend

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Spray dish with nonstick cooking spray. In bowl, combine cornmeal, flour, baking powder and salt. Whisk water, egg whites, and vegetable oil in cornmeal mixture; stir until smooth, pour batter into baking dish.Place ground beef in large skillet, cook over medium heat 6-8 minutes or until no longer pink, drain.Add salsa, beans garlic, chili powder and cumin; mix well. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Spoon beef mixture evenly over batter to within 1/2 inch of edge of baker, Bake 20-23 minutes or until crust is set. Remove from oven, sprinkle with cheese.
