In a large frying pan (not a non-stick, there's lots of scraping involved), combine oil, peppers and onions and brown over medium-high heat. Once onions have begun to caramelize, add ground beef (or turkey) and brown from 6-8 minutes: Meat should be very brown and sticking to the pan to get that grilled flavor!Remove from heat and deglaze the pan by adding 1/4 cup of water and scraping all of the browned bits.Mix in catsup, dry mustard and BBQ spices.
