10 oz Sirloin Beef Steak - cubed
1 large onion - sliced
1 cup uncooked rice
1 can beef broth
corn starch
Seasonings - garlic pepper, onion powder, soy sauce


How Do I Make Beef and Onion with Gravy?

Here is how you make Beef and Onion with Gravy:

Heat a large skillet with olive oil. Add onion rings to hot pan and season with garlic pepper. In another pot start your rice, cook according to package directions. While onions cook prepare meat by trimming and cubing it. Sprinkle seasoning on it. Once onions start to caramelize add meat and some more olive oil then sear the meat. Add the can of beef broth, garlic pepper and onion powder then cover and cook on high for about 15 minutes. Once your meat is cooked thoroughly remove the meat and onions leaving the broth. In a side dish add corn starch to cold water and wisk with spoon to take out lumps, add mixture to the broth while stirring to thicken for the gravy. Once it's thickened add meat and onions and stir.
