2 medium eggs (beaten)
1 cup of pre-cooked steamed carrots or raw carrots (minced)
1/2 cup of minced onion
2 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp sesame oil
1 tbsp brown sugar (unpacked)
2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp ground coriander
1/4 tsp black pepper (ground)
1/4 tsp seasalt
Frying powder Mix (You can get this at any asian supermarket)
1 cup of canola oil


How Do I Make Korean Style Beef Patties?

Here is how you make Korean Style Beef Patties:

In a separate bowl, set aside 4-6 tbsp of the frying powder. You will use this to dip and roll the meatballs before frying. Heat a frying pan with the canola oil.Using a food processor, finely mince the carrot and onion together and set aside. Mix the soy sauce, sesame oil, beaten eggs, brown sugar and all the spices in a separate bowl and mix well. Combine the ground beef, tofu, and carrot/onion mixture. Mix together the spice mixture and meat mixture gently, do not overmix, just til combined. Using a scoop, this just makes it easier to make even sized patties, place each meatball into the frying powder and roll until just coated then gently place in the frying pan. Do not overcrowd the pan. Cook until browned on each side, each ball takes about 4 minutes to cook.
