1 large jar Spaghetti sauce, any flavor
6 cups prepared instant mashed potatoes
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, regular or low fat, divided
1 can whole kernal corn, drained


How Do I Make Beef Shepherd's Pie?

Here is how you make Beef Shepherd's Pie:

Cook ground beef in large skillet until browned, drain off grease, return to pan. Add spaghetti sauce and stir well, then pour meat mixture into bottom of 13 x 9 baking pan. Set aside. Make potatoes according to package directions for 6 servings. Mix in the salt and pepper, and 1 cup of the cheese. Stir well to combine, until cheese is melted. Stir in the drained corn and mix well. Spoon potatoes over meat & sauce in baking pan, spreading as evenly as possible. Top with remaining cup of cheese. Bake in 350 degree oven for 10 to 20 minutes, until cheese is melted & lightly browned. Let cool 10 minutes before serving.
