3/4 pound ground beef (I used grass fed, which is naturally lean)
1/2 cup cooked quinoa (1/4 cup dry, then cooked with 1/2 cup of water)
1 cup cooked lentils (1/4 cup dry, cooked with 1 cup of water)
1/2 cup bread crumbs
1/3 cup cheese, cut in to small cubes (I used raw cheddar)
Seasonings to taste

Here is how you make Beef, quinoa and lentil Burgers:

First, cook your quinoa and lentils, if you haven't already done so. It should only take 15 to 20 minutes, as they are quick cookers.Once done, let cool enough to handle.Puree lentils until smooth.Mix beef, lentil puree, quinoa, bread crumbs and cheese all together in a bowl. You may need to add extra bread crumbs, or not. Just depends on how wet the burger mix is. Add any seasonings you desire. Ball it up and patty it out. I generally make 6 decent sized burgers. Cook however you like. I've never tried these on a grill before. I usually just cook them in a pan on the stove top over medium high heat until done. Enjoy!Serving Size:?makes 6 patties
