Trim fat from beef, and chop into smaller pieces. Chop one slice of onion into small strips.Place olive oil in medium saucepan over medium heat. Add onions & beef - just to slightly brown the outside.In Crockpot mix water and lipton soup mix, stir in tomato paste. Place Vegetables in strainer and run warm water to slightly defrost. Add beef & vegetables to crock pot. Cook on high heat for 1 hour, and switch to low heat for remaining 3-4 hours.
