The ingredients for Beef Stroganoff with Dill are:

1 lb - lean sirloin steak, chopped into bite size pieces
4 cups - egg noodles, no yolks preferred
2 cups - mushrooms, chopped or sliced, baby bellas work nicely
3/4 cup - green onions
3 Tbsp - Dill Weed, dried
2 cups - reduced fat sour cream
14 oz - Red wine
3 Tbsp - Olive Oil
2 cups - beef broth


How Do I Make Beef Stroganoff with Dill?

Here is how you make Beef Stroganoff with Dill:

In a large skillet add 2 Tbsp. of olive oil.Add beef and 3 oz Red wine and cook until beef is brown.Remove beef and put to the side.Add rest of olive oil to skillet.Add chopped green onions to the skillet.Saute until tender, then remove from skillet and put with the meat.Add mushrooms to skillet.Saute mushrooms until tender, remove from skillet and put with meat and green onions.In a medium/large pot, add beef broth, 8 oz Red Wine, meat, green onions, and mushrooms.Allow to simmer over medium heat for 10 minutes.Add rest of Red wine.Bring pot to a boil, then reduce heat. Allow to simmer for approximately 30 minutes.Add 1 Tbsp of Dill Weed.Allow to simmer for 30 more minutes.While simmering cook your egg noodles.After simmering (or when meat is very tender) remove pot from heat.Allow to cool for 5 minutes. Then add the sour cream 1 cup at a time. Mixing well in between cups. Add the last Tbsp of Dill Weed after the first cup of sour cream.Blend all of ingredients well. Drain cooked egg noodles.Serve in bowl with sauce over egg noodles.Dill Weed, sour cream, and red wine can be adjusted to fit your tastes.
