1/2 cup bbq sauce of your choice (I use Sweet Baby Rays Brown Sugar & Hickory)
1/3 cup ginger ale
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp honey
2.5 lbs beef brisket, trimmed of as much fat as possible and blotted dry
Salt and pepper to taste


How Do I Make Barbecue Braised Brisket?

Here is how you make Barbecue Braised Brisket:

In a small bowl, combine bbq sauce, ginger ale, brown sugar, and honey.Lay meat in slow cooker and season with salt and pepper. If too big to lay flat, cut in half and stack. Pour sauce over meat. Cook on LOW for 10-12 hours. You may serve immediately, slicing the meat against the grain. To store, place meat in foil and cool before refrigerating, refrigerate the sauce separately. When ready to serve, degrease the cold sauce and discard the hardened piece of fat and reheat the brisket in the sauce.
