2 - Pork Baby Back Ribs, boneless
3/4 C. Onion, diced
1/2 C. Celery, diced
Garlic, 2 cloves, minced
1 T. Tomato Paste
1/2 C. Beer
1/4 C. Cider Vinegar
1/4 C. Brown Sugar, unpacked
2 tsp. Worchestershire Sauce
2 C. Chicken Stock
EVOO
Spice Mix (I used garlic powder, onion powder, ground mustard, black pepper, salt, paprika, cumin, and coriander)


How Do I Make Braised Baby Back Ribs?

Here is how you make Braised Baby Back Ribs:

Preheat oven to 350. Pat meat dry, rub with spices of your liking. Heat a large dutch oven over High heat with EVOO. When pan is screaming hot, add meat. Quickly brown both sides and remove from pan. Turn heat down to medium. Add onion, celery, and garlic. Saute until soft. Add tomato paste, cook for 1 minute. Add beer and vinegar, scrape up brown bits from bottom of pan, and reduce by half. Add worchestershire sauce. Place meat back in pan, add enough chicken stock to just cover meat. Cover hte pan and place in the oven for 1 hour or until meat is cooked through (160 degrees). Slice meat and sppon sauce over top. Serve with potatoes prepared to your liking. Serving Size: 6 Number of Servings: 6Recipe submitted by SparkPeople user MKERSCHNER.
