4 c chopped cabbage (more if you like)
1 lg onion
2 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
2-3 cloves chopped garlic (depends on your preference)
2 tbs Dijon mustard (optional)
2 tbs flour
2/3 c water
8 oz shredded cheddar
2 (8 oz) cans refrigerator crescent rolls

Here is how you make Bierock Casserole:

Brown and drain ground beef. Add cabbage, onion, salt and pepper to beef. Cook until cabbage starts to wilt. Add garlic, mustard, flour and water. Mix thoroughly and heat through, then add cheese and set aside.Pre-bake the bottom crust. Press 1 package of the crescent rolls into the bottom of a lightly greased 9x13 pan. Bake 7-9 minutes (until starts to form a crust), then spoon beef/cabbage mixture over the crust and lay the second package of crescent rolls over the mixture. Press the seams together. Bake uncovered 25-30 minutes or until golden brown. (Optional - sprinkle the top of the crust with a small amount of cheddar)Serving Size:?8 servings
