Pepper Garlic raw or powder (to your taste, I use 4 -6 tablespoons, we love garlic) How Do I Make BEST Cauliflower Chowder?Here is how you make BEST Cauliflower Chowder: 1. Cook the bacon in a pot. Take out and place on towel.2. Leave the little grease there is and use it to sautee the onions, carrots, celery, bay leaf, pepper, parsley. Add in Garlic after they veggies are almost sautee'd.3. While veggies are cooking chop and steam cauliflower. Once cooked, drain and put in blender and puree, this is where you add milk to help it blend. Only add enough to get the cauliflower to puree. It should look like mash potatoes and have that thick consistency.4. Add Cauliflower to the veggies once they are cooked.5. Add broth to your liking for soup consistency. I personally noticed I had to use 1.5 cups and then I didn't add anymore. We like our soup thick. IF you put in too much broth in, this is where you add the cornstarch mix slowly to help thicken the soup.6. Chop up the bacon into tiny pieces and add them to the soup. 7. Let is blend for about 5 minutes. Taste. Should be perfect. If bland add some pepper, parsley, and garlic.
