Yellow Onion 2 large chopped yellow or orange peppers 2 large Jalapeno peppers 9 peppers Serrano Peppers 6-9 peppers Banana peppers, Pablano, or Anaheim 6-9 peppers habenero 1-2 peppers or leave out Tomato sauce 2 regular sized cans Canned tomatoes 4 large cans pureed tomatoes 1 large can Seasonings Note: You can mix all the seasonings with the flour and add to the ground meat or add the seasonings then and the flour later. Chili Powder 5 TBSP Garlic Powder 2 tsp. Cumin 3 TBSP Black Pepper 1/4 tsp. Flour 1/2 cup water 1 cup How Do I Make Rick's Church Chili?Here is how you make Rick's Church Chili: Brown the sausage and the beef. Drain. Add the onion and the peppers. Cook for a couple of minutes. Add the seasonings (if adding the flour now, omit the water) and all the canned tomato products. Simmer for at least 30 minutes. If you are adding the flour at the end to thicken, mix with the water, add to chili, simmer for aditional 30 minutes for thickening. You may also omit the flour if you don't like your chili thick.
