1 tbsp chili powder
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
2 tsp salt
2 tsp black pepper
2 tsp onion powder


How Do I Make Spicy Black Bean Chili?

Here is how you make Spicy Black Bean Chili:

Prepare the dried beans according to package directions. Do NOT drain the beans when they are finished cooking. The beans will stay in the cooking water.Brown the ground beef. (Tip: To save a few dollars, purchase ground chuck or hamburger meat. Brown until no longer pink. Drain the grease. Place meat in a colander and rinse with hot water. This lowers the calories and fat in the meat.)Over medium low heat, add ground beef to beans and water. Stir. Add onions and garlic. Add all seasonings and spices. Stir. Cook for 2-3 hours until you get a nice thick chili.
