Here is how you make Braised Beef Shortrib Chili:

Trim the as much fat as possible from the ribs to avoid unnecessary fat. Heat olive oil in dutch oven, add onions and saute until translucent. Push onions to sides of pan and sear the trimmed shortribs until brown on all sides. Remove meat to bowl and saute garlic with onion in the meaty beats left from the searing.Add entire can of tomato paste and heat through.Add 1 tsp chili powder and 1 tsp cumin, stirring vigorously.Add canned tomatoes, beans and water to make consistency between soup and stew, bring to boil quickly. Stir in peanut butter until incorporated.Turn heat down to very slow simmer, add meat and any collected juice and stir thoroughly before covering and letting cook VERY LOW for 2 - 3 hours, until meat is fork tender.Pull tender, fully cooked meat out of chili, shred with forks then reincorporate.
