What Are The Ingredients For Janice's Chili Recipe?The ingredients for Janice's Chili are: 10 ozs. ground beef, 92% lean1 T olive oil Garlic, Parsley, Salt, Pepper, Chili Powder 1 cup celery (include some leafy part) 1 Bell Pepper, diced 1 Large Onion, sliced 1 Can Whole Kernel corn, drained 1 Can small red kidney beans 1 28 oz. can of Redpack Crushed tomatoes How Do I Make Janice's Chili?Here is how you make Janice's Chili: Spray large pot with Pam, add 1 T olive oil. Heat. Break up ground beef and put in warm pot. Put cut up bell pepper & celery in. Season and mix. The amount of seasoning is personal. You can make it as salty/hot as you & your family like it. Next, add raw onion. As the ground beef goes from pink to brown, add vinegar. Stir. Add drained canned corn and kidney beans, Stir. Add the crushed tomatoes. Stir. Lower to simmer. Simmer for at least an hour, taste occasionally and make adjustments as desired with spices. The sauce will thicken. You can add more vegetables too, which shouldn't affect the calories too much. You can serve this plain, or over pasta or rice. It keeps well and freezes. This recipe makes quite a bit. Enjoy!
