What Are The Ingredients For J_Aubrey Chili Recipe?The ingredients for J_Aubrey Chili are: 5-7 lbs stew meat - depending on how meaty you like your chili2 cans EACH: Kidney Beans, Pinto Beans, and Black Beans 2 cans Corn 1 lg Onion 2 Green Peppers - Bell Peppers 2 cans Stewed Tomatoes 4 cans (8 oz) tomato sauce 1 (64oz) container of Tomato Juice 1/3 cup of Chili Powder Pinch of Cayenne Pepper (depending on your family's heat level - my family's is low) 1 Tsp White Sugar 1 Tbsp Oregano 2 Tbsp Cumin Powder Salt/Pepper to Taste How Do I Make J_Aubrey Chili?Here is how you make J_Aubrey Chili: 1). Brown Meat in bottom of Lg. Pot Over Med Heat (I do this in batches) - Remove from Pan 2). Cook down Onion and Green Bell Pepper in bottom of pan for a few minutes (3-5 mins) add seasonings - chili powder, cayenne, sugar, oregano, cumin, salt, and pepper - Add Back in Meat and Coat w/ Seasonings - Stir Well3). Add Tomato Juice, Tomato Sauce, Stewed Tomatoes (including juice)4). Drain and Rinse Corn and all Beans (Kidney, Pinto, and Black)5). Turn down to low and Simmer for 30-40 minutes (or as long as it takes me to make a batch of corn bread) :) Stir Occasionally.
