Meat, beans and spices are braised until tender and the dish IS topped off with crunchy breadcrumbs. Like paella, it can be made in many different styles. This version is quick and low fat.

150 ml red wine
150 ml lamb stock
1/4 teaspoon each dried, rosemary, thyme and parsley
400g can haricot beans, drained and rinsed
2 tbsp fresh white breadcrumbs
salt and freshly ground black pepper
