What Are The Ingredients For Retro Fruit Curry Recipe?The ingredients for Retro Fruit Curry are: 2 tbsp. butter1 granny smith apple, cored, skin on, quartered & sliced 1 banana sliced 2 brown onions finely diced 1 1/2 tbsp. curry powder 1kg chuck, blade or stewing steak, chopped in 2cm cubes 2 tbsp. flour 1 tin pineapple chunks, drained & fruit reserved 1/2 pint of liquid made with pineapple juice, topped up with water 1 tin tomatoes 1 tbsp. spicy fruit chutney 1/2-1 cup thread coconut 1/2 cup sultanas 200ml coconut cream or milk salt & pepper to taste How Do I Make Retro Fruit Curry?Here is how you make Retro Fruit Curry: Preheat oven to 175 degrees celsiusMelt butter in frying pan.Add apple, onion, banana & curry and fry over low heat for 10 minutes until softened. Remove to casserole dishBrown Beef in batches. Return all beef to pan and sprinkle over flour, cook for 2 minutes stirring constantly.Add combined pineapple juice & water, tinned tomatoes & fruit chutney. Salt & pepper to taste. Bring to simmer then tip into casserole dish. Cover casserole dish and place in oven for 1 hour 15 minutes.Remove from oven, add thread coconut, sultanas, pineapple pieces & coconut cream.
