Preheat oven to 350 with rack in lower third.Place ham in a baking dish and set aside.Meanwhile, melt butter with thyme in a small saucepan. Add remaining ingredients and heat through. Remove from heat and pour over the ham steaks, cover with foil and bake in the oven 30-40 minutes.Discard foil and place back in the oven for about 10 minutes allowing the glaze to caramelize slightly.
