Here is how you make Exotec's Basic Ham:

Cut veggies into chunks and tie in cheesecloth bags. Don't bother trimming or peeling veggies: the skin and peelings add color and flavor, and will be removed after cooking anyway.Place veggie packets in the bottom of a large stock pot.Place ham face down on top of veggie packets.Add water to almost cover.Simmer lightly for 20 minutes.Remove ham to baking pan, face down.Remove and discard veggie packets.Make a glaze with a bit of the pot liquor and the sucralose-brown sugar blend. May also add cinnamon, pie spice, cloves, or whatever other seasonings you like (not included in recipe nutrition data).Cover ham with foil.
