Here is how you make Homemade Sausage Gravy and Biscuits:

crumble sausage in skillet with high sides. Season to taste and cook thru. Preheat oven to 350 F. Once sausage is cooked thru, DO NOT DRAIN GREASE! Gradually stir in flour to coat meat and soak up grease. Reduse heat to med/low. Slowly stir in milk. Add pepper. Stir occasionally until it reaches a boil. Reduse heat to low and simmer until desired consistancy. Bake biscuits occording to package directions.Cut biscuit in half and top with butter and approx. 3/4 cup of gravy.
