This is something my grandmother and my mom made often, You may know them as something else but this what we called them. These little breaded steaks are great and really are a family favorite. the actual recipe requires a soak of the meat. the beef is cut into 4 oz portions and thin sliced. It is soaked in total of 2 c milk, 3 eggs, 1/4 c parm cheese. As far as oregano and garlic it is to own taste really. I always add black pepper to mine as well. meat is soaked in this mixture for at least 2 days in the fridge, (three is better) being stirred at least twice each day.Once soaking time over, meat is lightly coated in bread crumbs and browned on both sides in oil. I used my air fryer so very little oil was needed. Place each breaded, browned piece of meat in baking pan. Bake at 350 F for a minimum of 30 min. Can be served for most any side.
