- One can of Hunt's No Sugar Added Pasta Sauce
- 1 cup of frozen bell pepper strips (red, green and yellow)
- 1/2 cup of Frozen spinach, squeezed to drain.
- Italian Seasonings to taste (I use fresh)
- Fat Free Ricotta Cheese 15 oz container
- 2-3 cups of Mozzarella Cheese - Low fat
- 2 eggs
- 1/4- 1/2 cup romano/asiago cheese blend.

Here is how you make Little more healthy Lasagna:

Pre-heat oven to 350.Brown beef, drain and add to it: bell peppers, spinach, water, tomato sauce and simmer 10 minutes. In a med sized bowl mix the ricotta, eggs, 1 cup of Mozzarella and the romano/asiago. I also add fresh herbs here.Put one cut of sauce on the bottom of your lasagna pan. Layer 3 noodles and add another cup of sauce.Spoon on a layer of the ricotta mixture, add a cup of sauce and another layer of noodles.More sauce, more cheese, more noodles, more sauce and then the remaining mozzarella.Cover with tinfoil and bake covered at 350 for 45 minutes.Uncover and continue to bake until hot and bubbly.Should sit before serving so cutting and dishing is easier.Feeds 12.Number of Servings: 12Recipe submitted by SparkPeople user SARAHSLY.
