2 lbs. lean hamburger
1 cup Quakers old fashioned oatmeal (uncooked)
3/4 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped bell pepper
1 can tomato sauce
3 cloves garlic minced
1 jumbo egg or two small, lightly beaten
1 Tlb. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp salt or to taste
1/4 tsp black pepper or to taste

Here is how you make Nana's Old Fashioned Meat Loaf:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix all ingredients except 1/4 cup tomato sauce (set aside for top). Put into a 6x10" loaf pan or shape into a loaf in roasting pan. Bake approx. one hour or until done in center (160 degrees for beef). About ten to fifteen minutes before done, take out and drain off all fat. Spread the 1/4 cup tomato sauce over top and garnish with bell pepper rings.
