How Do I Make Marlene's Most Marvelous MeatBalls?

Here is how you make Marlene's Most Marvelous MeatBalls:

In a large pot combine on a medium heat the Cranberries and Ragu. Melt them together then reserve 1/4 cup of sauce for the meat. In a large mixing bowl combine the eggs, salt, onion, sauce and Panko. You can either chop or grate the onion you don't need all of it either. Salt to taste. Panko until the mixture is firm you will need more or less depending on how much liquid ends up in the meat. You want it firm enough to hold its shape but not so much that it is a rock. Roll the meat into 1 inch balls and drop into the pot with the heated sauce in it. You should also count how many you are putting it so you know approximately how many you will get. When dropping make sure you get them covered if you run out of room just let it coo a bit and then stir so you have more room. Let it cook for about and hour on medium to low heat depending on your stove. The longer it cooks the better in tastes. Serve freeze any leftovers, they freeze very well. Enjoy!Serving Size: Make approximately 5 servings of 5-7 meatballs but we usually don't count.Number of Servings: 5.0Recipe submitted by SparkPeople user SHEYLENNA.
