Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add shells and cook according to package directions. In a large skillet, heat oil and butter over medium heat; add pancetta, sprinkle with pepper, and cook until golden and crisp. Add the frozen peas and cook for 1 minute, stirring. Add the heavy cream and chopped mint. When the pasta is finished, drain, reserving 1/4 cup of the cooking water. Add the shells to the pan. Squeeze lemon juice over the pasta and mix well.
