I threw this together to empty the freezer of last years venison and use up some of the over abundant peppers from my garden. My family loved it and made me promise to write it down before I forgot what I put in it. Can be served over brown rice (not in the nutritional info). Sorry, no photo...they ate it up too fast!

4 Venison tenderloin steaks cubed
1 Tbsp minced garlic
1 med green pepper, cut into strips and then halved
1 med red pepper, cut into strips then halved
1 jalapeno, finely diced (use less if you don't like the heat)
1 banana pepper (about 4-5 inches) cut into slices, then quarter the slices
1 med yellow onion, cut into slices then quarter the slices
1 Tbsp canola oil
2 Tbsp red wine (can use red cooking wine but this adds calories)
1 envelope onion soup mix

Here is how you make Garden Fresh Pepper Steak:

Cube steaks and set aside. Prepare all vegetables and mushrooms, set aside. Heat oil in large skillet (I used an electric skillet) until oil pops when spritzed with water. Quickly add venison, Onion soup mix and garlic into hot oil and stir together. Saute venison mixture on high heat until all sides are browned and reduce heat. Add Red wine and let simmer 5 minutes.
