Spray glass casserole dish WELL with cooking spray to lessen sticking.In a medium sized bowl, mix eggbeaters, egg whites, Parmesan cheese, dried minced onion, minces garlic, half & half, cottage cheese, bacon bits and 1/2 cup of cheddar cheese. Allow this mixture to stand for 20 minutes so that onions can re-hydrate. You can add about 1/2 tsp of salt and a bit of black pepper, if desired. I don't use alot of salt, so the salt in the cheese & bacon bits is plenty for me. While you are waiting, cook, drain & slightly cool ground beef. (After draining, I also often rinse cooked ground beef under hot water to remove even more grease). Spread out into casserole dish and allow to cool for a few minutes, so you don't scramble your egg mixture.Once ground beef is cooled a bit, pour egg/cheese mixture over ground beef and stir slightly.
