Here is how you make Dan's Shepards Pie:

Cook potatoes & carrots in separate pots. In large pan cook onion, mushrooms, ground beef, red pepper, garlic, thyme, & basil. Once brown add peas corn, & cooked carrots(medium heat). Cook for 10 mins. Add beef broth, flour, & BBQ sauce. Place in 9X13 pyrex dish. Meanwhile once potatoes cooked & drained, mash with milk & butter. Spread over beef mixture.
