2 pounds pork sirloin or tenderloin roast, trimmed
4 Tbsp EVOO, divided
1 large onion, sliced
3 cloves garlic, grated
4 tsp caraway seeds
4 cups shredded cabbage
1.5 cups unsalted beef cooking stock
0.5 cup light beer
2 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 Tbsp onion powder
1 tsp granulated garlic
2 bay leaves


How Do I Make Braised Pork with Cabbage and Caraway?

Here is how you make Braised Pork with Cabbage and Caraway:

Heat oven to 350. Season pork on both sides with salt, pepper, onion powder, and granulated garlic. In dutch oven, heat 2 Tbsp EVOO and sear pork on all sides. Remove and keep warm. Add remaining EVOO to the dutch oven and sautee onions, caraway seeds, and garlic 3 minutes, add cabbage and cook til begins to wilt. Push veggies to the sides of the dutch oven to make room for the pork. Return pork to the pot, cover with veggies. Add in the stock, beer and bay leaves.
