1/4 teaspoon salt
dash pepper
1 cup water
1 tablespoon flour
1 teaspoon vegetable oil


How Do I Make Homestyle Pork Chops-N-Gravy?

Here is how you make Homestyle Pork Chops-N-Gravy:

Spray a skillet with cooking spray. Add chops and brown on both sides a couple minutes. Add the water, salt, and pepper. Cover and simmer for about 45 minutes to an hour or bake, covered, for an hour at 350*. Pour off broth and measure adding a little water if necessary to get one cup broth. Add the oil to skillet with chops and brown nicely. Remove to platter. Put the broth back in the skillet. Mix together the flour with a little water to make a paste and add this, stirring, to broth. Cook and stir to thicken. Serve with gravy over mashed potatoes for a nice homey meal.
