How Do I Make Pork, onion, apple and potato stew - Super Easy!?

Here is how you make Pork, onion, apple and potato stew - Super Easy!:

This is all estimates because it's more of a meal I throw together "to taste". Not too complicated so I have faith that everyone can replicate this and make it tasty, too.First chop your veggies. Just a hint, not a requirement.Heat deep large non-stick 8 qt-ish pan to med-high.Season chops with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Spray pan with non-stick spray if desired and sear chops to pretty golden brown. If they burn a little, no biggie. Just added flavor. May have to do 2-at a time. Remove chops from heat.Add onion and celery. Chop up the pork into bite size pieces (this makes it seem to go further)Continue to cook until onion begins to carmelize a bit. Lower heat to simmer. On my stove that's a 3.Add in the rest of the ingredients.Add just enough water to just barely cover everything.Cover and simmer until a fork inserted into the potatoes and apples proves they are done to your liking. This could be seasoned all kinds of different ways. Experiment! Have fun! Hope you like it!Serve in bowls with a big spoon!(I keep thinking that some chopped cabbage, like the bagged coleslaw might make this really tasty and more filling but haven't tried it yet... I'll add a note whenever I remember to try it.)Number of Servings: 6Recipe submitted by SparkPeople user JELKANDERS.
