1 cup, chopped Onions, raw
1 cup, chopped Carrots, raw
.5 cup, diced Celery, raw
2 clove Garlic
32 oz Lamb, Ground
1 dash Salt
.5 tsp Pepper, black
.125 cup Flour, white
0.5 can (6 oz) Tomato Paste
1 cup Campbell's Chicken broth no salt added
1 tsp Lea & Perrins, Worcestershire Sauce
1 tbsp Rosemary, dried
1 tsp Thyme, ground
1.5 cup Peas, frozen


How Do I Make Sweet Potato Sherpard's Pie?

Here is how you make Sweet Potato Sherpard's Pie:

1. Peel the potatoes and cut into 1/2 inch cubes. Place in a medium saucepan and cover with cold water. Set over high heat, bring to a boil. Cook until tender and easily crushed, approximately 10 minutes.2. Drain the cooked potatoes. Mash the potatoes with butter and milk.3. Beat the egg and stir into the potato mixture until well combined. Set aside.4. Preheat oven to 400F5. Place olive oil into a 12-inch saute pan and set over medium to medium-high heat. Saute the onions and garlic. Add carrots and celery and saute for about 4 minutes.6. Add lamb, salt, and pepper. Cook until lamb is browned and cooked through.7. Add tomato paste, worcestershire sauce, rosemary and thyme. Mix in thoroughly.8. Mix flour and chicken broth together in a cup. Pour and stir into the meat mixture. Bring to a boil, reduce the heat to low, cover and simmer slowly about 10 minutes, until sauce is thickened slightly.9. Spread the meat mixture evenly into an 11 x 7 inch glass baking dish. Layer the peas on top. Top with the potatoes, starting with the edges to create a seal. Pat and smooth with a rubber spatula. 10. Place dish on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper or aluminum foil on the middle rack of the oven and bake for about 25 minutes, or just until the potatoes begin to brown. 11.
