Oven at 375. Grease large casserole. If you aren't using canned venison, brown or boil the venison you have. In a large bowl, combine soup, milk, and salt and pepper to taste. Mix in potatoes, onions, garlic.Pour into casserole dish. Bake, covered, for about an hour. Check doneness of potatoes. Base remaining bake time on your assessment. It usually takes about 1.5 hours to cook thoroughly. Spread with shredded cheese after you remove casserole from oven. It will be hot and steamy and the cheese will melt quickly!I can venison every year in quart jars. This is one of my favorite ways to use it.You can use any ground meat instead of venison.
