Here is how you make Campfire Cowboy Potatoes:

This can be done on the stove top (Dutch oven) or over a campfire (cast iron Dutch oven) -- either way, cooking times are about the same (campfire may be faster). Cook ground beef and onion together until all pink is gone. Drain. Add potatoes, peas, cheese and seasoning, mix together and heat through for about 10-15 minutes. Serve with wheat dinner rolls and a salad. Makes 12 one cup servings -- great for company since it makes so much.
