Here is how you make Scalloped Ham and Potatoes (OAMC):

Melt margarine and add flour, salt and pepper all at once. Stirring to make base for white sauce, blend and stir until mixture is smooth and bubbly. Remove from heat and stir in milk. Heat to boiling. Stir constantly and boil 1 minute. In casserole dish, arrange 1/2 of potatoes in layer. Cover with chopped ham and onion. Top with remaining potatoes. Cover with white sauce. Cover. Bake 30 minutes. Uncover and bake60 minutes or longer until potatoes are tender. Cool and Freeze.
