The ingredients for Deer and Rice are:

1 cup of white medium grain rice
2 cups water
16 ounces deer meat, cubed
2 cups dice green bell pepper
1 medium onion, diced
1 cup black beans
2 cloves of garlic, minced
2 cups beef bullion broth
1/2 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/8 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
1 tablespoon of canola oil


How Do I Make Deer and Rice?

Here is how you make Deer and Rice:

Cook rice, cumin, black beans and 2 cups water in a large cassarole dish in microwave for 5 minutes on high then 14 minutes on medium. While the rice is cooking, cube deer meat and dice onions and bell pepper. In a large non stick skillet over medium high heat add canola oil. Add deer meat and sear until lightly browned. Add onion, garlic, salt, pepper and cayenne pepper. Stir well to get all the meat coated. Finally add cooked rice mixture, bell peppers and beef broth to the deer meat.
