1 pkg taco bell taco seasoning
1 tsp cumin
1 tbsp chili powder
1 tsp red pepper flakes
1 tsp cornstarch (if meat mixture is too runny)
3/4 cup water

Here is how you make allygator's taco salad:

brown meat and drain. add beans without draining. add packet of taco seasoning and 3/4 cup water, and additional spices if desired. If too runny add cornstarch. simmer 5 minutes. While these are simmering spray a cookie sheet with non stick spray. Cut tortillas into 8ths (I stack them and cut with a pizza slicer). place on cookie sheet and spray with more cooking spray. Bake at 350 for about 5-10 minutes, or until crispy. arrange 8 chips on plate, top with a quarter of meat mixture, 1/4 of the cheese, and 1/4 of the sour cream. servings can be cut to save calories, and lettuce and tomato can be used int his salad as well to beef up the volume.
