Add chopped tomatoes (can sub diced tomatoes from can), add chopped (coarse) potatoes, carrots, celery, add coarsely chopped beef. Add buckwheat or whole wheat pasta. Bring to boil. Place on very low heat for at least 2 hours--more if you have the time.
